New Year, New Biorex Food Diagnostics
Throughout the end of 2021, here at Biorex Food we have been finalising our move into our new headquarters. Based in Antrim Technology Park, our custom built 30,000 square-foot facility is now open and a secure base for all our staff.
With the initial project announced in 2019 by the Biorex Food Diagnostics Directors, it was exciting to see the final stages finally coming into place. With over £8m invested in the new headquarters, BFD have only the best Research and Development equipment to ensure our high quality products are kept to this great standard.
Research and Development is at the heart of the new Biorex Food Diagnostics headquarters, with two high tech laboratories to implement the creation, testing and production of over 50 Biorex Food Diagnostics products shipped to all four corners of the world.
All the team at Biorex Food are thrilled to have a new home with modern office space, high tech laboratories, warehouses and cold rooms for our award winning products, a spacious canteen, meeting rooms and a state of the art board room. With this expansion of space, Biorex Food are also currently working on creating new jobs and doubling our headcount over the next two years.
We are excited to start inviting our long term customers to view our new home. COVID-19 restrictions will be in place when we welcome customers to the company. About Biorex Food Diagnostics
Biorex Food Diagnostics was established in 2014, acting as a subsidiary of Fortress Diagnostics (a renowned global IVD provider). We work with food producers, government and 3rd party laboratories and customs import/export departments to deliver innovative food and feed testing kits and improve food safety worldwide. In recent years, our customer network has expanded greatly and we now export to 28 countries across 5 continents.
As a company, we consistently invest in R&D to create new products and ensure our range meet the needs of the market. All products are manufactured to the highest standard in our manufacturing facility based in Northern Ireland. Our aim is to help ensure that prohibited antibiotics and other contaminants are free from the food and feed supply chain. To achieve this, we deliver high quality, reliable immunoassay ELISA kits for the rapid detection of antibiotics, mycotoxins and veterinary drug residues found in meat, poultry, seafood, honey, dairy, feed, dried fruit and urine.
